Harvest Collection Letter

Dear Parents,

As we come to the end of the Harvest season, we are working to learn about people who may be less fortunate than ourselves and where our food comes from. With this in mind, we would like to ask for your support.

On Monday 14th October, we will have a Harvest Collection in school and we would like to ask that you send a contribution for the older members of our local community and to those at a local charity who are less fortunate than ourselves.

A gift of tinned food or packaged items may include:

  • Washing powder
  • Washing up liquid
  • Sauces – tomato, brown, mayonnaise,
  • Tinned custard, fish, fruit, meatballs, ravioli, rice pudding
  • Deodorant
  • Kitchen rolls
  • Biscuits
  • Cook in sauces
  • Sugar
  • Jam
  • Gravy granules
  • Tinned vegetables

Any fresh produce such as fruit and vegetables are also welcome.

Thank you in anticipation. Without your kindness, we would not be able to support our local community and those further afield.

Kind Regards, Mrs K Basterfield and Miss K Crookes
